The Sequoyah
Hills Cafe and Market is an old family run establishment in the well known Sequoyah Hills area of Knoxville.
Our party of 4 visited the restaurant for the first time on October 9, 2004 at 6:15
pm. This small local
restaurant and market has limited seating, so reservations are strongly recommended. The restaurant is located
well off Kingston Pike deep inside the Sequoyah Hills area past many beautiful old homes and quaint streets. For additional
information on this restaurant, including their menu, visit their listing in the East Tennessee Dinning web site at Sequoyah Hills Cafe and Market.

The Sequoyah
Hills Café and Market is truly a gem in the rough, providing an unexpected dinning pleasure. The café is situated
on a corner facing the intersection of Kenesaw and Keowee Avenues. The appearance of the cafe is that of a 1950's style
market with large plate glass windows in front and both booth and limited table seating. Alcoholic
beverages are not available at the establishment, but you may bring your own wine, which your waiter will be glad to serve
for you, as we witnessed at other tables of local patrons. Even though our server
was new on the job, she did an excellent job explaining the menu and keeping our beverages full. Each course was served fresh and expertly prepared and presented. The
portions were more than adequate and the taste was superb. Although the Sequoyah
Hills Café and Market has a limited menu selection, it offers a quaint and leisurely dinning experience with superbly prepared
entrées that we highly recommend. .
