The food was well prepared and served by a very friendly, courteous, and congenial staff. This family-style restaurant offers a good variety of southern cooking in large, fresh,
and flavorful proportions. This specialty restaurant is a good choice for casual
dining with family and friends. Our visit to this establishment was for a birthday
celebration. At the end of our meal we were pleasantly full and had decided not
to order desserts; however, after some quite hints from our server we realized that the birthday person would receive a free
dessert. We all shared the free dessert, which was excellent and included a rather
impressive sparkler-like candle.
